Garbage 4/21//2005
« on: March 01, 2005, 03:42:00 pm »
According to their website, Garbage is coming to the 9:30 club on April 21, 2005. They are doing a presale now for their fan club members. I assume the regular tickets will go on sale this Thursday at ticktes.com, although it's not listed yet.

I don't think it will sell out that fast on tickets.com. The last time they were here it didn't sell out right away and they have been out of the spotlight lately, so I don't think there's much to worry about in getting tickets.

It's a whole fan club with exclusive content or whatever. It just started like 2-3 weeks ago.

I can't imagine joining anything like that for any band.

well that was fun. The pre-sale sold out in all of 1 minute Tickets.mcom is to be believed. I logged on right at 10 a.m., selected 2 tickets and was promptly told "sorry, tickets not available in the quantity you selected." And got the same message repeatedly no matter how many tickets I selected.

guess I'll have to wait for the normal sale.

Tickets are/were $36

And the presale did sell out very fast.  The 930 site was updated to reflect that, too.
