tickets.com people are idiots, after their website was all flubbed up, I called them and they insisted that the show was sold out. Heck yesterday after the presale they tried to tell the show was sold out also.

Suki, it really seems like your powers of deduction are always just a hair slow ...

I believe those of us who were making light of Garbage were referring to their bland, follow-the-leader, post-grunge, late-90s modern rock radio-ready lowest-common-denominator music.

None of the above indicates whether a band will sell albums or tickets at a fast clip ... quite the contrary, actually ... Boca Raton's finest, New Found Glory, will probably sell out the 930 Club, and they're way further down on most discerning music listeners' lists than Garbage.

Frankly, I didn't know that Garbage still has a rabid fan-base so long after "version 2.0", but I'm not surprised that a multi-platinum selling group could sell out an 1,100 seat club

So why would anyone on here think the 930 management would be making a bad decision by booking Garbage (or New Found Glory, for that matter)?  did anyone on here say that?

I didn't know that all discerning music listeners kept such lists, and even if they did, some of us who are discerning listener don't conform to whatever that established list is.

fair enough ... still doesn't mean anyone was ripping on 930 management for bringing garbage, or any other popular band
