I believe those of us who were making light of Garbage were referring to their bland, follow-the-leader, post-grunge, late-90s modern rock radio-ready lowest-common-denominator music.
None of the above indicates whether a band will sell albums or tickets at a fast clip ... quite the contrary, actually ... Boca Raton's finest, New Found Glory, will probably sell out the 930 Club, and they're way further down on most discerning music listeners' lists than Garbage.
Frankly, I didn't know that Garbage still has a rabid fan-base so long after "version 2.0", but I'm not surprised that a multi-platinum selling group could sell out an 1,100 seat club
So why would anyone on here think the 930 management would be making a bad decision by booking Garbage (or New Found Glory, for that matter)? did anyone on here say that?
