To the over-30 crowd: What's the saddest way you've injured yourself? I leaned my head back to wet my hair in the shower and pulled a muscle in my neck.

I am more than willing to respect people's tastes, and I am sure I am guilty of having offended people before with my own...but Phil Collins is 100% utter crap. It is music for secretaries who have crushes on their married bosses, then gossip about it by the water cooler. Or even worse, music for lovesick people who actually want to hear elevator music and then will whistle along to it.

I just figure why eat at McDonald's and listen to Phil Collins when you can break free from the masses who embrace mediocrity and don't question what else might be out there. Unless of course you see what's out there and decide that you genuinely like his music...then more power to you.

too many to name... but baby proofing a cupboard six years ago I put a drill bit through the wood of the cupboard that then went through my pointer finger.

I had to turn the drill back on in reverse to pull it out of my finger. That hurt like hell and I still get an occasional tingling sensation in that tip.

I was on my hands and knees reaching out to hang xmas lights on a tree and threw my back out. I couldn't get up and had to call for help.

We went “camping” in our backyard last summer and I pulled my back out right as I was laying down for the night somehow and could barely move after. I then limped my way towards the house while my wife and kids enjoyed the quiet, nature sounds of Georgia Ave in the distance. I hate camping anyway so I’ll take the wins when I can get them.

Ha ha that’s totally me!

Evan Dando I think wrote a song called “the outdoor type” that sums it up perfectly

From 15 to 30something, I skateboarded.  I was damn good. I built 3 full half pipes in my backyard.  I skated 10 hours a day sometimes.  It was my life, my love, my everything.

About 2 years ago, I got on one again.  Fractured my ankle in less than 5 minutes.  I never mentally survived.

Ditto.  I def have a picture of me in helmet with Lester Kasai holding up our matching Lester Kasai custom boards from 1986 probably?

Just bought a 360 camera and had a fleeting thought about how cool would it be to get a skateboard again and shoot some video with it.  This thread is telling me what a bad idea that is....
