The show was excellent, the sound was meh.  It rather hot on the floor which seemed to put some of the drunks over the edge, cleared out nicely for the excellent encore.  This was definitely the only show in recent memory where I did not feel like the old guy in the crowd!

Oh and whats dime?  (I must be behind on some new fangled site again)

thats great to see they are still playing stuff from their first album and you got death letter which is probably the best live song from De Stijl (with that said all the songs off that album sound great live)

awesome show.  jack seemed inspired to be in virginia (he may appreciate the history of the area) and came out on fire - after dead leaves, barnburners icky thump, when i hear my name and death letter in succession was really strong (with a delerious little room thrown in).  i think he wanted to really make this a memorable show and the monitor problems and whatever else impeded it.  that's too bad, but ultimately no real harm done.  can i blame the patriot center for being weak venue?  if that place were a dog, michael vick would murder it execution style.

caught their show friday night at the Grand Opera in Wilmington.  Privilege to see them in that intimate environment.  Sound was fantastic.

I was actually off to the left, on the floor (I had a GA ticket) and was about 3 "rows" back roughly. It was a great view. "In the Cold, Cold Night" was one of my favorites, was great to hear that. I would have loved to hear "Rag and Bone", which is my favorite song off the new record. And "Jolene" too would have been nice. Glad that everyone had a great time though.

I was at both shows as well.  And while they were great in fits and starts in Virginia, (Jack was so pissed at the monitor situation, I think he just gave up after "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself") they were absolutely LETHAL in Delaware.  I don't want to be a person who says "you should have seem them the night BEFORE" but...  Actually I loved the shadows on the big red screen on the stage at the Virignia show.

Maybe Jack was dismayed that the biggest cheers of the night were for the disco ball.

 Delaware set list:

 Dead leaves
You don't know what love is
 cannon>
 john the revelator
(joke "what did mississippi ask michigan?")
 Catch Hell
 Hotel Yorba
Finding it harder to be a gentleman>
 Truth doesn't make a noise(!!!)>
 I Think i smell a rat>
 Screwdriver (slow-ish)>
 Rat riff
 I fought piranhas
 Icky Thump
 Cold Cold Night
 Same Boy You've always known
(A story about soldiers becoming sailors and Jack's guitar turing into a divining rod)
 Hardest Button
 Slowing turning into you

 ______break

 Black math
 Wasting my Time
 We're going to be friends
Bound to pack it up riff for about a split second
 300MPH torrential outpour blues
 7 nation army
 apple blossom
 ugly as i seem
I just don't know what to do with myself
 Boll Weevil

 Brian

P.S.  You think Jack was condescending with his "So, when does school start?"

the sound and crew guys have a bad set-up one night and piss off the star with the sound quality, moniters, ect - so let's blame the venue.  the sound guys have a great show and everything goes as planned another night, with the star smiling big teeth - so let's blame the venue.

My husband and I took our 11 year old nephew to the show on Sat for his first ever concert. I'd say they set the bar pretty high for his first live music experience and he really enjoyed himself.

Did anyone find any of the posters?  I looked around at a few stands but didn't see any.  Bummer.  If anyone has an extra to sell let me know!

Very cool poster, But I spent my 30 bucks on the shirt isntead of the poster. Definetly was not expecting the poster to cost as much as the shirt, but some are already on ebay:

Here are most of my videos from the show and a few pics. The videos are crap because I used my stepsister's camera instead of mine, I was under the impression that there were no cameras allowed, and apparently her sound quality sucks and the camera doesn't record sound you zoom in or out.

 Intro:  http://youtube.com/watch?v=UDC1ROFs6Gs
 Icky Thump:  http://youtube.com/watch?v=j2Fa2HbOPoc

Youtube severly lowers the quality. Dammit. In the 7 Nation video in the middle you see Jack motioning that he can't hear. Somewhere around here is where he mouth'd a couple of F words to Meg and she laughed.

some pics which took tons of effort to look decent:

I have two questions:

1.)  I had GA tickets but that area only seemed about half full.  Is that all that they let in for GA floor shows?  The could have easily fit in a couple of hundred more people in there.

2.)  They played WEST Virginia before but not Virginia?
