oh my...I don't know which is worse...combining this co-bill in a baseball stadium, or the co-bill in general:
"This summer, DEF LEPPARD and BRYAN ADAMS will give the phrase "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" a whole new meaning as they co-headline the Rock 'N Roll Double Header Tour, taking them to 26 minor league baseball stadiums. I work with a guy who graduated from Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, Texas.

The school came before the singer.

Where is Aberdeen?  You know DC is in the shits when even the Leppard/Adams tour is skipping us over.

I'd go see the Leppard....Bryan Adams might make my ears bleed, though.

Def Leppard and Bryan Adams on the same bill is an example of PROMOTERS ON CRACK. It's a freekin crime against nature...and it will result in fans killing each other (or themselves...) at the venue.

Is there really any difference in the fanbase of these two artistes?

last i checked, there wasn't a minor league stadium in d.c. . .although some might argue that rfk is no better than a minor league stadium.  as for ripken stadium in aberdeen, it's right off of I-95, between baltimore and the delaware line.

Woops, didn't read the article part of the tour posting, so hadn't realized they were all minor league stadiums.  My bad, thanks Venerable.

I am ashamed, but proud in a sick way, to say that I saw Def Leppard in concert in 1991 at the Capital Centre, on election night.

If you've always wondered what the political leanings of the typical mullet-headed Def Leppard fan are, I can tell you:  when the singer announced towards the end of the show that it looked like Clinton had won the election, the Cap Centre reverberated with extended, earth-shaking, boos.

as I have said several times before on first concert threads, Def Leppard with LA Guns opening was my first concert ever in 89(?) at the St. Louis Arena.  I think that fulfilled my lifetime need to see Def Leppard.

I saw Def Leppard on the same tour (I think), with Ugly Kid Joe opening at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre.  My buddy won free tickets from KNAC, THE heavy metal radio station in LA.

That's still not as bad as Queensryche playing some Tex-Mex restaurant in Albuquerque -- I saw that on Pollstar awhile back.

I wonder if there were free chimichangas for the band and crew...
