NEW ORDER provide their fans with a little holiday music for patrons of the Hacienda this Christmas eve.
They've recorded a special flexi of “Rocking Carol” and their version of Beethoven's “Freude Schoener Gotterfunken (Song of Joy).” Only 4,400 were pressed up by Factory Records and all were given away in a rubber stamped bad that also had a party hat, some streamers, a bit of candy and a whistle. Although the band is not identified on the label, it does say, “Merry Xmas and Good Will
to All Members."
