RIP Tony Wilson

Though I know he came across with various attitudes and people either love him or hate him, but without him, we wouldn't have some of the greatest music of all time. It's because of his passion for Manchester and the music scene, we have music like Joy Division, New Order and the Happy Mondays. Without that sort of influence, we wouldn't have had the smiths (Morrissey and Johnny Marr used to watch So It Goes on tv as young lads), Oasis or any sort of solid brit pop. To say the least, he will be missed.
