Forum Holiday Gathering
« on: December 07, 2003, 01:57:00 pm »
I'm helping setup a Forum Holiday Gathering which will take place in the Backbar.  So in order to guage what night would be best for people to come on over, I'm setting up a quick poll.

What about New Year's Eve as it looks like there is nothing worthwhile going on anywhere? I can't make it either of those nights, especially not a Monday night during a very busy week.

Kosmo, Dec. 17th is when The Return of the King opens so I expect that a lot of people will not be free then. This is a great idea, though! And Monday works.

I'm  gone by the 22nd, and have a few NY Eve parties.  I think this is gonna be a toughie to work out, but I want it to work!!    :(

No other options, or maybe before/after the movie?

I just realized that Wednesday the 17th is impossible for me to work out because I have an after work departmental Christmas party that day. We have 3 of them that week but the other 2 are during the work day.

 What about a Friday night?

(Oh, yeah! I was a week off in my head   :D  )

I understand Samantha. Just realize that it pays the bills for the club to exist....and learn to sip.

or you can just be brave and drink the pitcher water. it's free; no guilt whatsoever.

The 17th was my first suggestion, seeing as not many of the regulars would be interested in Mindless Self Indulgences, but then I remembered about Return of the King.  So the 22nd was floated as a possibility and instead of assuming people would be in town, etc, on that date. We decided to setup the poll to get a feel if people could come that night.  So far so good... Hope to see all of you who can make it that night  :)
