Phantom Planet...

Okay, I'm enough of an indie annoyance that I've been averse to Phantom Planet due to their movie star members.  But am I missing something?  I think some of y'all have a bit of an idea what I'm in to -- you're power pop/indie rock/poppy emo is even okay.
 
 Just wondering, as they're coming to town in Nov.

Personally,I'd pass.But,you can hear some tunes and watch a few videos here:www.phantomplanet.com and then make up your mind.

Speaking of bands with stars in them, only one I have ever liked was "P" with Johnny Depp back when his career was on hold.
