You know, fatskippy, I'm tired of your contrarian posts always saying how everything that wasn't produced musically after 2006 is crap.  It's getting REALLY tired.  Everyone knows musical perfection was achieved by the Velvet Underground's "Loaded" and everything after is a pale imitation!

If you think the Virgin Festival is full of nostalgia acts (and it's not.  Come on!  Stone Temple Pilots!  NIN!  Chuck Berry!) then list some of the fresh new talent you would rather see.  I bet you can't!

Your anti-nostalgia rants have gotten old.  Everyone knows Bob Dylan farts cotton candy.  And at the Virgin Festival 2008 he will allow you to swipe his butt checks with a paper cone for some delicious Strawberry only if you declare him a genius and tell him how much you loved "Modern Times" (with no trace of irony.)

Are you on the 9:30 list, or the Virgin Fest list?  They're not the same.   I got the info from the Virgin Fest list yesterday.

Ahhh so this was not on the 9:30 list.... I wonder what email I used to get ont he virgin list... time to go digging.

Not really concerned about getting tickets today, I will do that in person at the club.  I am concerened with getting a parking pass today, there are not many of them to go around.

Yep.  Virgin Mobile Festival mailing list gave out the password.  I find that if I'm remotely interested in something, signing up for the mailing list is generally a good idea.  Of course, this forum is usually so on top of things that I know the entire tour schedule for a band days or even weeks before I get the mailer about in it my inbox.

I don't think the parking passes ever sold out before, did they??  I sure know the tickets won't but I'm pretty sure the past two years they never sold out.

even if they sell out,  you can park across the street at the school for $20. just as close - maybe not as bad getting out either
