Never made it to the show. Stuck in traffic for over 3 hours from Tysons Corner, and I swear to god, FUCK Nissan Pavillon in the ass. I left at 5:00 today from Greenbelt, and STILL didn't make it. It was 9:45 and I was at Linton Hall and Wellington, and I was DYING from the weather and the fucking line of hundreds of cars waiting to get into the venue. By the time I would've parked and got myself together, I would've STILL been missing 3/4 of the show. Thanks a bunch, nature. What a bitch.

 NEVER. AGAIN.

I'll be at Camden, Boston, and the last 4 definitely though. Fuck it.

 Awww...Fake Plastic Trees? Seriously? Awww....

 NEVER. EVER.
Woof.

I just got back to Arlington.  It took roughly 2 full hours to get out of the Nissan parking lot.  For the life of me I have no idea why they don't just put up a couple freaking signs and half a dozen staff per lot to give things some level of organization.

We figured traffic would be insane on 66 coming in given the weather, so we juked around and came up from the south.  Unfortunately, that put us in the death parking lot (F!) incredibly far away.  There was not a person there, pavilion seats and lawn, who was not drenched through and through.

Fortunately, the band put on a tremendous show.  I'm not a huge In Rainbows fan excepting "Nude" and "Videotape" (which was as great as I'd hoped live), but I didn't mind the heavy focus on it.  They actually played the entire album.  The "classics" were stellar choices all around, with "Planet Telex" being the "wow, really?  Awesome!" moment of the night.

I feel terrible for anyone who couldn't make it do to the flooding, the weather, and everything bad.  Thom did dedicate "Fake Plastic Trees" to anyone who got flooded out of the show, so, uh, good on that?   I saw two great shows at Nissan this weekend (Kanye too) but I'm never going back unless Prince is there.  It is easily the worst-organized venue I've ever attended.

got back to Bmore just prior to 3am, and that was after dropping some folks off.

I am now offering a free head examination to anyone who doesnt believe Radiohead to be the best band ever ever ever ever ever.

 awesome show, more to follow.

Just got back to College Park about 20 minutes ago after dropping off a friend in Silver Spring.  The show was utterly amazing.  I wasn't a huge In Rainbows fan, but am probably converted at this point.  Cannot believe I seriously got to hear Fake Plastic Trees.

As for everything else.  Good God.  Awful.  I got to Nissan pretty much ok.  Very little traffic getting in as of about 7pm from the south (yeah, i got stuck in parking lot F, F for f$#k all far away).  We walked for what was probably 20 straight minutes just to get to the gate through torrential downpour.  Everything was already flooded.  Had to jump across 3 different spots that were about 6 feet across of 3 inch deep water.  Got in, and decided to make a bogs break.  An area of about 40 square feet in front of the toilettes was covered in inches of nasty brown water.  Great.  Once in the pavilion everything was amazing.

My biggest problem of the night was with getting out.  Tune into WTOP and apparently Ball soemthing or other road was flooded and closed.  They were directing everyone out one particular way, but apparently various stoplights had shorted and were out and the police were desperately trying to keep traffic flowing.  I sat in the parking lot in the spot i parked in for 2 hours before getting moving.  Once out we were shunted in a random direction that dropped us off God knows where.  These police were forcing whole lines of cars to go left at an intersection when we could see the sign saying turn right to go to 66.  We even asked the cop if turning left would get us back to 66 eventually.  He just sort of shrugged and we followed the directions.  Eventually (30 minutes of driving around lost later) we found virginia route 29 and went north to find 66.  Still pouring down rain.  I'm a bull run veteran and this was almost as nasty.  As for nissan? This had been my first time there. NEVER AGAIN.

Even though I was totally drenched and freezing, still enjoyed the show very much. This was my 4th time seeing Radiohead, and they never fail to impress me. I would have liked to hear Exit Music, but they more than made up for it playing Fake Plastic Trees and Like Spinning Plates. I love In Rainbows, and as expected hearing them live was even better.

I feel bad for the people that didn't make it in because of the flooding. I guess we lucked out. Left Downtown D.C. at about 4:45 and arrived there around 6:30. Getting out of Nissan was a total pain in the ass, but that was expected.

Awesome show!!!!!!!!!!  The seats I had were pretty good too.  They even had tickets for sale at the box office where I was sitting at too.  Section 102 5th row available day of the show.  Crazy ass weather.  Didn't expect it to rain all night so wasn't dressed for it.  Got drenched.  Getting into Nissan was not bad as I arrived early.  Leaving, well that was a clusterfuck.  Idled in my car for over 2 hours in one spot.  Thank God I had a full tank of gas.  Sucks for the people who didn't even make it into the show because of the traffic.  I would have been pissed.  Great Great show!!!!!!!

Great show!  This was the first time I'd seen them in about 10 years.  They still put on an excellent show.  It is a shame the weather was so bad.  We were sitting in Section 303, 3rd row from the back of the pavillion.  Every time the wind picked up, we got rained on.  We ended up leaving during the encore because, despite the great show, we were just miserable.  Took us over an hour to get out of the parking lot.  We're going to try to get tickets for the August show in Indianapolis.  I think I'd rather be sitting in oppressive heat than freezing rain.

well, i had my 4 hours of sleep and i'll tell my tale.

Left Baltimore around 3pm, picked up friends in Takoma Park and headed south.  Got to Manassas around 5pm with minor traffic delays and grabbed something to eat before heading over the Nissan.   Got to the parking lot around 5:45pm and parked very close to the gate.  After sitting in the car drinking for about an hour we rushed in.

Liars are stupid and why did we have to sit through that shit.  Radiohead couldnt have gotten a better band?  please, that guy was an idiot.

There were a LOT of pot smokers in the pit, not that i mind, but i was a touch surprised.  Radiohead was the second best i'd ever seen them, we were about 5 ppl back pretty much in front of Ed. Those lights were amazing and i never take pics at shows but i have like 50 from last night.  The In Rainbows songs sounded so awesome, esp Jigsaw, Bodysnatchers and 15 Step.

The older songs were great too, Lucky, Just, Karma and Fake Plastic Trees were way more than i could've asked for and although i was hoping to get a reprieve from Android...they rocked it hard and i loved it. The band seemed way more playful than I've ever seen them but they sounded tighter than ever too.

What was that song they played with Thom Yorke playing the drum kit? It was fucking intense and i cannot think of the name of it.

Leaving for us was looking to be impossible until some ppl were skipping over the curb to the handicap lot due to a missing parking concrete thingy.  So basically we sat still for 30 minutes til we decided to back up and follow the moving cars and we were basically whisked out of the lot. another 30 minutes and we were on 66 going 65 mph.  All in all to get home from Baltimore, stopping in Takoma Park and in the torrential downpour, in 3 1/2 hours from the time Radiohead left the stage....not bad in my book.

I still wont ever go back to Nissan. even if Radiohead plays.  But i'm buying tickets for Philly and almost surely to be at APW fest now...

I wished they played How to Disappear Completely, but awesome show and great set list.  Next APW and Lollapalooza.

Nice Pics!!!!!!  I have a freaking question.  I'm an idiot when it comes to cameras.  I just got a canon digital and last night took some pics but with the flash on the pics didn't come out at all.  Turned the flash off and the pics came out so so not as good as yours.  Did you use flash with yours or off?????

missed it. it was bull run all over again for me. by the time we got around all of the flooding, the cops told us to turn around  because the parking lots were full. so the parking fees included in our tickets didn't actually include parking? wtf? is anyone else who didn't make it in due to flooding, road closures, and no parking going to make an attempt to get a refund, or is that completely pointless since the show went on? not that it will make up for missing the show, but still...

If you had lawn seats and did not make it to the show, you probably lucked out. I almost considered turning around and going home, when i was stuck in the back-up to just get on to 66.

I love Radiohead, and i think they are one of the greatest bands in the world. But i overheard a guy say to one of his friends on the way out that "The main reason you go to a show is for the EXPERIENCE"

and last night at Nissan was definitely the worst Experience i've ever had at a show. I spent about 7 hours in my car, and about 3 hours spent freezing in the rain on the lawn. Not being able to see the band because a): everyone had their umbrellas up and b) the big screens were not being used.
