I believe I still owe you for the De Novo Dahl CD, so I'd say at least a couple of drinks are on me.  :)

well the good news is that it appears very few tickets for this show are being "brokered"  only one pair on ebay at the moment, which means it soldout to the fans.  hopefully, tickets will be available outside the venue, I'm not holding my breathe though...

Could be a long-shot, but  DC Nine has some tickets to give away on Friday night during their Bloc Party album release party.

Don't feel too bad, the entire U.K. tour has sold out and I didn't get any tickets either.  The worst part is, the shows don't even start until October.

Just heard one of their songs on KEXP and can now officially say that they are not in the 2% of indie rock bands that don't suck.

Did you verify that, or are you just assuming the charges were outrageous?  Black Cat tickets via TM's website usually have a $3 convenience charge per ticket.  Usually, it's will-call only and no delivery fee.   $3 is hardly a huge price to pay for something that will probably sell out in advance. That's less than the cost of a single beer.
