It was excellent. Radiohead was amazing, as were Devendra Banhart, Dungen, Beck (who had puppets as part of his show--can't go wrong with puppets!), and My Morning Jacket. Sonic Youth was really good too; Stephen Malkmus showed up at the end of their set and did a song with them. SY opener Be Your Own Pet was really fun, despite not having any good songs. Their singer is a fox, by the way. Weather was nice except for the last night. Overall a really fun time.

I've never been that hot in my life, and I grew up working on a farm in Virginia.  That shit was crazy.

We saw Lucero, World Party, Ben Folds, Bright Eyes, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers (with Stevie Nicks on a few songs), Elvis Costello, Beck, Shooter Jennings, Refugee Allstars of Sierra Leone and The Streets.

Also saw Vic Henley, Morgan Murphy, Jon Reep, Tom Papa, Demitri Martin, Aziz Ansario, The Upright Citizens Brigade and Lewis Black in the comedy tent.

All in all, it was pretty fun, but it was kinda awkward being two of the only people there NOT getting completely wasted and doing drugs.

I caught part of the oysterhead set on the live webcast; it was an abortion. Very disappointing. Bright eyes sounded like fun. Just finished listening to that radiohead recording and it sounded like it was amazing as to be expected. I assume nobody from here caught the disco biscuits/umphrey's mcgee late night show or the brothers past sunday afternoon set.   :)

I saw Brothers Past - they were good, but not as good as they have been at the Club.  The Disco Biscuits/Umphreys show was too late for me; I was passed out by that point  My brother went and said it was incredible.

Highlights for me were Radiohead, Beck, Tom Petty and Phil Lesh.  The puppets during Beck was absolutely brilliant.

Were they L.Ron Hubbard puppets?

That's why I prefer albums to concerts...no puppets.
