Is Ratdog with Bob Weir?  Yeah, that and Dream Theater are two of my choices for my San Fran trip....think I'll catch a movie.

yeah but for a mere $250 dollars one get a platinum ticket for Dream Theater.  Which includes a seat in the first five rows, or early entry if it's a club show.  Plus...

Exclusive Platinum Package Dream Theater T-shirt
 A real VIP laminate
 Autographed Photo
Meet and Greet with Dream Theater
Photo with Dream Theater! (photo is posted on a website for download)

One would think Dream Theater were running for public office.  I may never complain about the high ticket prices for other shows again.  They'll be a bargin in comparsion   :D

I was looking at the list serve email and noticed Air.  Thursday night?  Bummer.  But I'd like to see their "thing" after watching thier live DVD, but $35.... it drops to the bottom of my list... In the end, this is just another thread post complaining of high ticket prices.  But just look: Ben Kweller and Death Cab= $15; Air = $35... something is wrong.

I like all of their records, and I'm sure they put on a good show...but $35 is crazy.

Well, maybe for $15 I'll see Death Cab twice.

I just hope that kweller opens and not the other way around.

 As for Air at $35....

Worth it.  And I'd pay triple for Zero-7 if they come back.  (But don't tell the club).

i don't get how air is $35 and crystal method and black eyed peas is $25. however, i'm going to get a ticket and use my valentine's gift  card thingie that came with an extra $25 bucks on it. so in theory, air is only costing me $10! woo hoo! but yeah, i thought air was two nights? well, makes no difference. for every show that's 2 nights, i also end up going the bad night. just can't ever tell.

Crap. Had planned on seeing Air on the Friday date .... but....$35 is way out of my budget. Friday at the club isn't confirmed yet for anyone, so anything yet can happen. Maybe they are seeing how Thursday's sales go. Well, either way, I can't do it. I expected it to be $20.

Yeah - Ratdog is Weir's band.  I haven't seen them since Wasserman left, so I can't even try to convince you to go with a clear conscience.

Forget the movie.  Spend the night in Amoeba Records!

Just be patient. If all of you refuse to pay $35, they're bound to put a 2 for 1 special on it.

Is one prediction.

My prediction is that they will sell out both nights, when the second one is added after the first sells out. They even played air before the show at the velvet lounge last night. Not as good as when they played the clash and Richard Hell before the tyde show. Still made me smile though.
