Yep, that is the place.

Where are you going to be starting out on your cycle? I come from Woodlley Park. Our apt is right by Rock Creek Park, so I cycle in the wrong direction to Georgetown to hook up with the Capitol Crescent Trail.

i live in glover park just north of georgetown so i'm not exactly sure where i'd get on the trail.  rock creek park runs a few blocks behind my house...does the trail run through there? i haven't explored back there since i moved into my apartment.

thanks for posting that link...the maps are really helpful. unfortunately, the trail in glover-archibald park (which leads to the capital crescent) is only a foot trail. guess i'd have to ride down to georgetown on foxhall or another route and hop on there too.

A long lunch would be great, but I'm out for beers...I'm heading to Ocean City for another glorious round of wedding plans.  But a Happy Hour in the near future (maybe next week?) would be excellent.  Maybe we could convince econo to show up as well.  He's been known to make the long trip outside of DC limits for a drink or two.

Wouldn't that violate the terms of his parole?

The more pertinent question is, what is your problem?

Is it too bad going up and down Wisconsin, normally the traffic is moving so slow/stopped that it does not seem to pose too much of a threat to a cyclist.....

Its a pisser having to cycle the in the wrong direction to where you want to go, but the capitol crescent trail is pretty great for commuting on. Just watch out for dogs on 30 foot leads.

are your undies still in a bunch because I insulted your favorite poseur band a couple of weeks ago, or is it something else?

I never noticed you acting like a snarky little dick until then. Why don't you be an adult and tell me what the issue is and I'll either explain myself or agree to disagree?
