For those lamenting the fact that a DC area Massive Attack show is unlikely, especially at V fest, there are other opportunities to see them (some more attractive than others) including this labor day weekend festival, a little more work than trudging out to Pimlico but I dare say worth the trouble.

dcist just posted some more on v-fest, and says they have reasons to believe Arctic Monkeys and Theivery Corporation will be there along already mentioned bands:  RHCP, CYHSY, Gnarls Barkley, The Who, The Raconteurs, and The Flaming Lips.
