I'm wondering if all of those sanctimoious rock stars, hypocrites the lot, will now want another "Live Aid" to assuage their guilty consciousnesses and make them seem more genuine in the bleary eyes of their fawning public?

 Paging Sting?!

 White courtesy telephone please...

We care a lot about disasters, fires, floods and killer bees
We care a lot about the NASA shuttle falling in the sea
We care a lot about starvation and the food that Live Aid bought
We care a lot about disease, baby right, that's it, right, yeah!

you know, it's actually possible that some of those "sanctimonious rock stars" really do care, and the fact is that Live Aid and USA for Africa and all the rest of those things really did help feed people.  What's the point in automatically assuming the worst in people?

ps - to all - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are mad cause their indie bands could probably raise twenty bucks at best.

Which event was more horrific -- the actual tsunami, or Madonna's butchering of Imagine?

What other band put out a cover of that song? It's deplorable.

I heard Incubus doing Roxanne with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers over the holiday and thought it couldn't get any worse.  Then I heard that.....
