And the Democrats are still as spineless as ever.  :(

 Unbelievable.

I disagree.  It's the right move...he only voted with the Republicans on the War (which won't be an option any longer) and if Obama is ok with it, so should Congress be.  His vote is much more important than any punishment.

It's time to move forward and let Connecticut take care of him in 2012.

I still think there should've been more repercussions for his anti-Obama fear-mongering. And it's not like they'll have 60 votes (if Martin, Begich and Franken win) when it comes to foreign policy/homeland security issues. He definitely got off way too easy. But maybe I'm just being petty.

Lieberman sucks ass...but it sends a message that Dems are going to have to govern from the middle, and that is an important thing for Obama to do.

Bipartisanship and governing from the middle takes two sides, we'll see how much Republicans care to participate.  Yay for more years of getting nothing significant done.

I'm with you, in that I'd love to boot him in the ass.

That said, Obama is really trying to move on and look forward, not backwards.  Hell, he met with McCain.  He wants to mend/build what bridges he can, so I support his support of the old S.O.B.
