I know they sold out two nights at the club last time around but...I'm not really that excited about the prospect of seeing them at DAR.  I wonder if they're big enough to sell out DAR..I still think of them as a band with a dedicated core of fans, but I suppose that's not the case anymore.

club = 1200 people.  DAR = 3700.  so one night at DAR = 3 nights at the club.  i would most certainly rather see them at the club, too, but if they have the pull to fill DAR you can't blame them for making the obvious business decision.  the chances of them doing 3 nights at the club are very low, let alone a fourth night, so this arrangement actually allows more people in DC to see them perform.

the show will sell out right away (practically).  i'd be most happy to wager any amount you like that no pairs of tickets will be available 12 minutes after onsale (aka "the sweetcell sell-out rule").

If you were a REAL fan (you know, the kind that dave24 debates about with his gf), you'd have seen them so many times by now that you'd be sick of seeing them, and you'd hate their new album and instead be listening to Fleet Foxes.

 Anyway, I'm sick of MMJ. The singer basically yelled throughout their set at Lollapalooza. That was it for me.

 Every few years I get suckered into seeing a show there and then realize how much I hate it again.
 
 I really don't know if there's any band that could get me to buy tickets to a show there.
 
 Even with great seats there, the place still sucks.

Yeah, that's one of the many shitty things about the place.
 
 Awful sound
 Absolutely no energy for a rock show
 Seats
 No booze
 way too big for half the bands that play there
