It has proven very safe. Generally there is alot of foot traffic between the metro station and the club. It is a couple minutes away and you want to go to the U St Cardozo station on the green line. Exit at the Vermont Ave exit from the station and when you get to the top of the escalator do an about face and you will be facing U Street. Go right down U Street and then left on 9th and the club is a block up on the right.
