Seating for Ryan Adams/DAR Constitution Hall
« on: August 21, 2007, 12:30:00 am »
Hello! I was wondering what does it mean on ticketmaster when it says that a particular seat at DAR has an obstructed view?

I found a ticket for in the Orchestra in Row A, seat 6. Now granted, I'm not sure how long the seat will be there, but I was wondering if it was a good seat? I tried looking at charts and on ticketmaster, which wasn't much help. As for the ticket information that came up in the search for tickets, it said that the view was obstructed. I was wondering how do I find out how obstructed will the view be? (in general is there a way to see how decent a partial seat will be for viewing the concert?)

I was also wondering, I've been to shows at DAR in the past (ie- The pixies and Morrissey) and if I get a front row orchestra seat, do I get to stand against the stage? I remember seeing people standing close to or against the stage at past concerts.

Obstructed view means you might be looking at a stack of speakers or the back of the monitor engineers head.
The folks at DAR generally won't let you lean against the front of the stage.
