Hotels in the area

I've looked for the answer to my question, but I have yet to see what I am looking for...so here goes:
 
 What is the closest hotel to the 9:30 Club? Is it in walking distance? What other hotels are in the area? Are there cabs readily available at anytime during the night? TIA

There are no hotels within walking distance of the club.  You can usually find cabs all over the place after shows get out.  Any hotel in Downtown Washington is going to be around $10 by cabs to the club.  The Red Roof Inn in Chinatown is a couple of metro stops away from the club.  The metro can get you to the club but you may have to take a cab back depending on how late the show goes.
