bad back/ mini chairs?
« on: March 20, 2005, 10:14:00 am »
I have an interminably bad back which poses a real problem for me at gen adm shows.  I like to be at a show early to get a spot in front or on the rail, but to do so requires an hour or so prior to doors, and then sometimes another 3 hours inside waiting for the main band.  4 hours standing is rough on anyone.  Torture for me.  Is it allowed to bring a small (and i mean miniscule) 3 leg camping chair to sit while I wait for the show to start, then sling it over my shoulder once the show does start (so as not to prohibit anyone dancing, bouncing, etc).  Please let me know.  I've tried just sitting on the floor but that tends to make people trip over me, or when I'm really lucky, beer on the head.

We don't permit anything that could be an onstruction into the building.  This includes chairs of any size, coolers, large bags etc...
