Bull. When I have lashed out on people on message boards (which has really only happened a couple of times), it has been for serious, important reasons. It's because they have said something actually offensive of completely un-PC or just downright rude and un-called for. I wouldn't lash out on a random person who is having trouble with their audioscrobbler. It bothers me when there is completely no reason to add negativity/assholishness to the world, and people just do it because they feel like it.
If the guy had a bad day, tell us you had a bad day. Maybe someone will try to cheer you up. But don't get away with it by being a jerk to someone that hasn't done jack but ask an innocent question about a website. It wasn't even a stupid question.
