new dc-area hardcore/punk bands

TIIIIMMMMBBBBERRRR - fast and heavy melodic hardcore like husker du or drive like jehu, new 7" coming out for summer. all members at college, coming back in may.
  TURBOSLUT - just put an awesome tape out. they're playing a bunch of shows coming up. 2 girls from this are ex-chugga chugga
  BROKEN BODIES - awesome kids really into minor threat. sweet live set
  ANTE UP  - only have one song up there but their live set was real cool. sounds a lot like strike anywhere.
 
 post more. a lot more. and if you don't have anymore then start a band. summer 08 will be amazing if the productivity keeps up.

ya, Ante Up kicks some ass. i think they are playing the 930 club today as a matter of fact. any one know what time they go on?
 
 EDIT: I just found out from the band they go on after 8pm. but there are gonna be bands there all day long, so go check out some new music.
