Purple Crush is the combination of singer/dancer Isla Cheadle and producer/musician, Jared Selter. Recent winners of the AKAI/Numark Milestone contest in which they received $10,000 worth of equipment, Purple Crush's music has been gaining momentum on the internet and in clubs across the US and Europe. Next year they will have a 12" released on Nine 2 Five Recordings with remixes of their track "Vacation" by Disco D, Curtis Vodka, and Sir Nenis, as well as two tracks released on a reggaeton compilation with Beenie Man on Intune Records. Having opened for artists such as P Funk, Spank Rock, Fatlip, J Live, Busdriver, and Shock G, they just landed off a three week tour with break-out producer/DJ Curtis Vodka in cities across America.
