Anyone else sitting on the tarmac right now trying to get to Chicago after their flight was already delayed 6 hours?

We drove to Chicago and have been safely here since Sunday night.

13 hours in a car with a carsick toddler puking every hour wasn't fun though. And then she puked on the puppy once we were here, for good measure!

My experience driving to Pittsburgh Christmas Eve has never been any worse than driving to Pittsburgh on a normal day.  You'll be fine

Yesterday I drove to upstate New York with a hyperactive 4-year-old, a disgruntled 8-month-old and a highly anxious wife. All was fine until we got past NYC and then it got all end-of-Apocalypse-Now with utter chaos, violence and anarchy in the car. Now we're here and playing in 15-foot-high mounds of snow and all is well until we have to drive back on Saturday. Oh yay.

To Guyana's interior, close to the border with Brazil.
