Sorry, I was ignoring walkonby's threads until Venerable pointed this one out to me.

Larry Flint, always a media whore, never short a sense of humor. Good to see Joe Francis is going to follow nicely in his footsteps...the world needs more Larry Flint's.

But let's be honest here - he claims that the industry is not in trouble, but I think megarotic and youporn are really throwing the industry for a loop.

I've been resisiting for at least 15 minutes, which is painful, and knowing your background, I'm certain to be disappointed by the answer, but I have to ask: would I be interested in their body of work?

You'd definitely know one of their bodies of work. *cough, cough*

She's been pretty successful and she's a Brooklyn-bred diva, just like me. Much older than me though, but a very good friend of the family.

to tie in with another thread, porn industry is facing a similar situation to the music and non-xxx film industry: new modes of distribution which require a shift in business model.  as you've noted, people will pay a premium for convenience, expanded choice, exclusive content, etc.

i wonder if julian will come up to bat for the porn industry and defend them against the evils of illegal downloaders  ;D
