wow... from the beastie boys' mailing list:

hey honey, on monday jan 19th beastie boys are going to play a rock-the-vote show in DC at the 9:30 club to celebrate obama's inauguration. sheryl crow and citizen cope will be there too. hope you can join us, it will be heat and fire. more details below.

Tickets will be on sale 10 a.m. Saturday, January 10th

way cool that they're making this will-call only, should limit the scalpers.  i've been on the fence about trekking down for the 20th, getting tix to this would definitely get me on board.

actually, at the moment you're being the bitch, walkies.  you remind me of the grade-school kid who got busted doing something and now needs to squeal to the teacher every time someone else does anything.  newsflash: your juvenile behavior is not endearing you to anyone. 

fyi, this thread will become the roll call and location for "i didn't get tickets" complain-a-thon.  it has re-use value :)

It'll cost you a BIT more - but Sheryl Crow will be performing an intimate acoustic set and discussing music's influence on politics 2:00-4:00 the same day at Gibson Showroom... with the announcements in this thread, you pretty much have everything you'd find in my blog, minus a smart ass remark about Jay-Z's prices  ;-)
