Best of 2008 mix CD
« on: January 17, 2009, 02:51:46 am »
I don't recall seeing a best songs thread, so here's my finally completed 2008 mix.

I may be crossing over to the music obsessive zone because it took me at least as long to order the tracks as it did to select them.  But I've been distributing the annual mix to some friends for the past couple of years and I think I owe it to them to provide a smooth listening experience and not just a haphazard collection of songs, however individually good they may be.  I think the boardies will understand that sentiment.

 1. Get Up -- 50 Cent
 2. Move -- Q-Tip
 3. Dead Sound -- The Raveonettes
 4. Lights Out -- Santogold
 5. White Winter Hymnal -- Fleet Foxes
 6. Skinny Love -- Bon Iver
 7. Keep Your Eyes Ahead -- The Helio Sequence
 8. You Know What -- N.E.R.D.
 9. Danse en France -- Fischerspooner
10. Does This Mean You're Moving On? -- The Airborne Toxic Event

11. Minibar -- Mitch Hedberg (comedy intermission)

12. My Thin Sides -- Army Navy
13. Four Night Rider -- The Rural Alberta Advantage
14. Geraldine -- Glasvegas
15. Being Here -- The Stills
16. A&E -- Goldfrapp
17. Mirrorball -- Elbow
18. In the Summertime -- The Rural Alberta Advantage
19. Hallelujah -- The Helio Sequence
20. Soul On Fire -- Spiritualized

Good call, I was wondering if anyone had a mix sharing site recommendation.  I got most of the songs into two mixes on 8tracks.

it's too prestige and above you to post and it's most bands you've never heard of or even created yet. That's how much coolness and creed manimtired has.
