I think Mr. Murphy doth protest too much.  I mean, is he serious?  Does he REALLY think it's really going to be THAT much of a problem?  It's NYC!  There's a higher concentration of hipsters in New York than there are spies in DC.

It's no problem at all that MSG sold out because:

1.  90% of the crown will show up at least an hour after the concert has started.
2.  Half of the crowd will be texting while the other half are smirking/rolling their eyes.
3.  Over the din, you'll hear constant: "He sold out/started to suck after 'Losing My Edge."
4.  Everyone will leave at least 45 minutes early to attend a loft-warming party in Williamsburg.

Didn't everyone see him at Freefest?  He's not THAT good.

i know it's a mistake to take anything - ANYTHING - that walalce writes seriously, but:

Didn't everyone see him at Freefest?  He's not THAT good.

actually, he was.  that performance was a top-10-of-the-year for me.  that's why i want to catch them one last time.

actually what the freefest performance proved is Mr. Murphy could use a good producer to tell him the songs run to long..

LCD at Freefest was one of the highlights of 2010 for me.  I'll be at the last show.

Yay for QOTSA dates, but the amount of stuff going down on the East Coast in the last 10 or so days of March is insane.

Hopefully all QOTSA dates will be set by the time the non-transferrable tickets for the LCD Terminal 5 shows go onsale this Friday.

QOTSA's facebook said the full tour announcement is supposed to come today, but I haven't seen anything yet. Looks like all the shows go on sale Friday, so the announcement must be coming soon.

Yeah, I hope that's not it either.  Maybe they will get a stop in Norfolk or Richmond?  They played Norfolk a few years ago time for Richmond  ;D
