I heard people were complaining up a storm who tried to get presales from the nin website.  The website wouldn't connect or just stalled.

Joe got a Webster.

Sadly, the new Mew is one of the most boring albums to come out this year.
Such a shame after the masterpiece that was And the Glass Handed Kites.
Hopefully for your sake, they stick to old material.

Manic Street Preachers
Oct 10
Webster Hall

Hey Seth....

Looks like I misspoke.  Oct. 7 is the NYC date, plus Oct 8 at the Paradise in Boston.

Please please please get us a DC date.

To me this would be a more natural show in either Pittsburgh or Cleveland
T.Rex

I heard people were complaining up a storm who tried to get presales from the nin website.  The website wouldn't connect or just stalled.

it was a simple case of too many people wanting too few tickets.  i was on chat with 2 other people during the nin.com presale and none of us got past the virtual waiting room.  i didn't hear/read on the forums that the website crashed.  really annoying part was that once you were in, you could buy tickets to all the shows.  would have been nicer if they limited purchases to one show per member, but whatevs.

i received an email from bowery and bought thru ticketmaster and didnt have a problem. i think a lot of folx were upset because they didnt know about the presale.

yup, that's how i got mine.  was really easy too, and the T5 shows were the only ones i was interested in anyways so it all worked out for me.  NIN fans have a (somewhat understandable) sense of entitlement - trent has consistently hooked them up with tickets, so the thought of a public (aka non-NIN) presale didn't sit well with them.  trent announced the password on the site's RSS feed, those who weren't subscribed to it raised a sh*t-storm claiming discriminition, human rights abuse, rape, etc.
