just scored some seats in the second row of the orchestra pit... looks like there are more left

they bumped the face value for the pits on this one - but it's worth it at wolf trap

Not sure Bluegrass Elvis is worth $100.  Although I did pay that to sit in the front row at Strathmore.

If it were anywhere else but Wolf Trap I'd be there.  Wolf Trap and Nissan are my top two on the least favorite venue list.

I'm not sure how anyone could put the Wolftrap experience and the Nissan experience in the same category, but i guess if anyone can, it's someone who calls themself "ratbastard".

i believe that it's a case of WT staff having been specifically nasty to him, as opposed to nissan which is nasty to everyone.  the WT hatred is specific to his case, whereas everyone should hate nissan.

Yeah the venues are on my least favorite list for different reasons.  Nissan, well that kind of goes w/o explanation.  WT is more the crowd that always seems to be there.  Almost without exception, the typical WT attendee has given me the impression of being the snob yuppie type who stepped on everyone to get where they are and act the exact same way at a show to everyone else there.  Basically rude, arrogant, and classless.  I indeed also do not like the staff there very much, but they are far exceeded by the crowd that is there.

i really think you need to give a seminar -- a class, if you will -- on class.

isn't the makeup of the crowd really dependent on who is playing?
