Looking forward to this one. 3 CDs. Last song is Sugar Sugar. Wish I could get a poster of the cover.

Who Loves The Sun

The great thing about these box sets from Cherry Red is how broadly they define genres, such that they get a lot of stuff you might not think of. They're a lot more fun and even thought provoking.

I bought it July 2023 for same price. Can’t believe they still have copies but it’s really not a good value. A lot of the records are pointless like a crummy sounding live show or a mono version (who cares? )

Yeah it looks nice on shelf but there is a reason it hasn’t sold out even though there are only 1970 copies! Ripoff

The lp box of the matrix tapes is a way better value

Not sure the loaded box even includes everything on the 2 cd issue

I want my money back.

Speaking of reissues which can be also filed under cruelty towards a dead horse / vinyl stupidity

someone noted  on the good site that regarding the Charlie Brown Christmas Album

Discogs lists 172 different versions of this album, 69 of which, 40% of total versions, released since 2019.

at some point they are going to run out of color variations for this one...

It’s not just the vinyl color…it’s the covers vary, the bonus tracks vary, the trinkets vary

There are also a ton of cd variations

Amazing for an album that sold very little

Guaraldi who died before this phenomenon would be amazed

I was watching the extra making off the Thanksgiving special and learned it was Vince who had the idea to make trombones mimic the sound of grown ups talking

De La Soul -  Clear Lake Auditorium

Originally pressed for DJs in ‘94 it became the stuff of legend. Featuring rare collabs with A Tribe Called Quest and hip-hop icons, it’s back March 7 on digital, CD, and sea green vinyl. The holy grail of De La Soul albums

"Supervised by the band themselves, this remastered edition of Midlake’s mid-’00s classic sounds and looks great"
