Decemberists Rollcall

Anyone going tonight.  The addition of Robyn Hitchcock and his band (including Peter Buck) adds to what should be a great show.

The Decemberists are totally gay, and not in a good way.

Yes. The first hour was Hazards of Love ..

The second hour included (but not in order except for 1st and last song)
Red Right Ankle
Engine Driver
Dracula's Daughter intro
O Valencia
A Cautionary Song
Crazy on You (Heart Cover)

Final Encore
Sons & Daughters

There were a couple others I don't remember in there too...maybe?

I thought this was a fantastic show. It's definitely in the running for "best concert of 2009" for me. But it clearly depends on how much you much you like "The Hazards of Love". I thought it was great that they played the entire album without stopping. That's exactly what I wanted when I bought my ticket, and they delivered.

I loved this show...was in 4th row center, GREAT place for this particular show which was very theatrical.  I was a bit worried about a performance of the full Hazards of Love album.  I tend to tire of the repeating motifs halfway through the album, but it really delivered live.  And, we still got a smattering of Decemberists 'singles' with all the glory that is Colin Meloy.  Aaah, much love from Bags.
