Repackaged Bands
« on: September 12, 2009, 03:11:41 pm »
Here's the latest one I've stumbled across....

New Beautiful South is essentially  The Beautiful South - Paul Heaton.  Dunno about anyone else but this sounds a like a FAIL to me, especially since its the newish female vocalist in the band and Heaton really was the voice of the band.

not sure if this meets your definition of repackaged, but how about Renaissance?  not a single original member left... more of a concept than a band.

in case there are any fans, they're on tour.  local dates:
- Ram's Head On Stage, Annapolis, MD - Tuesday, October 6 at 8:00 PM
- The Birchmere, Alexandria, VA - Monday, October 12 at 8:00 PM

The original lineup is a repackage? OK.

No original members is correct, but two members from their most successful period who joined in the second year...
