AWESOME!!! I love Jawbox!

Anyone see them in like 1996 when the Dismemberment Plan opened?

Dude, that's like 6 years before bearman.  So far, you're the winner...and old.

First time I saw them was in 1993 when they opened for Sugar at the Aragon. Cell was the other band on the bill.

My virgin Jawbox experience was an odd one, them opening for Melvins at DC Space in the summer of '90.  Fortunately Jawbox went on first because after Melvins I couldn't hear a goddamned thing! haha

"Savory" was included on a post-breakup tape I recieved in the mid 90's.  I remember it being very heavy on Afgan Whigs and some Liz Phair song was on it too.  It was a pretty good tape.

Jawbox was my first show at the black cat on October 30th 1993. Along with Pitchblende and Los Mordidas. I still have the sign from that show.

They also had a good show at St Stephens church earlier that year with Jawbreaker and Pitchblende.

Did anyone go to that free show they did during the last year of the old 9:30 club? It was sold out when I got there so I didn't get in.

I only made it to the third hfstival. Mostly because TMBG was there.

I was at that St Stephens Church show too.  I remember trying to mosh with my friends, but some people sat down in the center of the pit to either prevent us from moshing or they were tired.  Ah, it was nice being young and dumb.

Saw their last two shows at The Black Cat with Girls Against Boys. Both nights were awesome.
