*if* this show was on tonight, this Cross dude would be up against AC/DC, black angels/raveonettes, david bazan, and probably others... Cross has never registered on my radar (other than his AD stuff, and i only know that because i wikipedia'ed him) so he's not what i'd consider a "big" comedian... silence here isn't surprising.

HOWEVER, this show in on wednesday 10/21, you dolt: http://www.livenation.com/edp/eventId/412872

I was sure it was on the 21st. And that conflicts with Hall and Oates. That combined with LN's attempt to gouge me on service charges (yeah, Julian. I'm talking about service charge gouging again. Deal with it) has me leaning towards Hall and Oates.

I saw this show in Denver a few weeks ago and Cross was very funny as expected.  Then again, I was a huge Mr. Show fan.  I saw him at the Ottobar in I believe 2002 when The Mooney Suzuki opened up for him.  That was a strange pairing.

Ah, yeah, I remember that.  Do you recall Cross making fun of Baltimoreans for saying "wooder" instead of "water"?  The guy he had come up to the stage to say it in the mike was my friend.

Why don't you MAN UP and pay the $7 or whatever the hell it is and then afterwards go to the Birchmere for the food?

Would suppose that's because he chooses to MAN UP and say 'NO' to all that crap.

Someone has to take a stand.  ;)

$7? It is usually at least 40% of the ticket price.

Okay - So I had it written down on the 21st and then changed it to the 16th.  Seem to remember some discrepancy in the date.  Thanks for the heads up!
