After taking my daughter to Albert Dock to the Beatles story, there is no question whatsofuckingever.....it has got to be the Beatles who were without a doubt the biggest sellouts in the history of the world.
 
 At best they were an above average band, but a marketing phenomenom....Britney, N'Sync and Justin could all learn a thing or two from the Beatles.

Yeah, I don't see how DMB could really have been sellouts.  For all of the spite they receive from this board, I dont' think they're doing anything that they haven't been doing all along.
 
 Now Metallica, they definitely jumped the shark with the Load album.  Short hair and grunge riffs?  Bogus.  Give me Battery any day.

U2 without question.......REM's a big one.....but the beatles? THE BEATLES?  GOOD GOD, MAN!  the beatles started out as a pop band, and slowly became more experimental and pushed the genre farther than anyone thought possible until they became some of the greatest artists to ever walk this earth.  If theyre anything, theyre the polar opposite of a sellout band.  GOOD DAY SIR, I SAID GOOD DAY!!
