Does anybody think the lineup will be better this year over last year?
Couldn't concievably be worse. I still say no one on here who attended last year's event has one iota of right to question the tastes of anyone else on anything ever again.

I think it's hard to argue with a free day at Merriweather + Public Enemy

20,000 sacks of shit wanting to see Blink-182 and drink cheap beer + probably 800 rapes.

Just like not being able to figure out the end of Lost...

I think THIS is where Pavement fits into your puzzle.  Columbia, MD is between NYC and Atlanta.

I don't know if they'll play six nights in a row, though.  They're Pavement.  They do tend to be a bit lazy.

While organizers haven?t even hinted at any bands or artists for this year?s blowout, they?re promising big names.
?At this point, we?re just narrowing it down to finalists we consider to be the most relevant acts out there,? said I.M.P. chairman and concert producer Seth Hurwitz. ?This is not your typical format, with a big headliner closing after smaller acts leading up. It will be A-list from opening to closing. It has to be that good. The culture of the Virgin brand expects nothing less.?

Up on Twitter the 930 Club says the line-up will be anounced soon. That means a week? Or so?

You let people bug you too much. Wasn't The National there? Don't you like critiquing their stuff?

Sounds like someone couldn't get free tickets.

A day of:

St. Vincent
Wale
Public Enemy
The National
Girl Talk
Weezer
Franz Ferdinand

was pretty good to me.  Plus I talked the Vodka stand lady into giving me 24oz of pure Vodka for 8 bucks.  Perfect weather and a great location.  Only wish it were two days this year.

Lineup was great last year.

The two bands that I think will be there are Phoenix and Pavement.

The fact that you're 30 and watch teen dramas kills your right to criticize anyone's taste.

Does anybody think the lineup will be better this year over last year?

Substitute Girl Talk for the Hold Steady and we are in agreement....

I'm 30? When did this happen?
