I think so.  Didn't they let other people in the pavillion last year though?

Got Haggis?

last year there weren't any VIP Tickets...you could get into the pavilion but you had to wait in an insane line

Wow, this is the worst case scenario in terms of staging. I bet you anything that TI being cancelled caused them to flip the headliners stages. No way MIA, TI and Ludacris were originally slated to do side stage shows.

What a mess.

Parking? What time is "an hourly" for the VIP tix parking?

Thanks

that schedule looks a tad amateurish... how certain are we that it's the real deal?

so i essentially have 2 worthless tickets........

uh, you got what you pay for ;)  you assumed that pavement and lcdss would be on the second stage, thus you were appy with free/non-pavilion tix.  now that they're on the main stage... pay up :)

it was nice (and or very lucky) that the schedule was released while this half-price VIP tix thing is still on.  for those who now want to buy b/c the lineup is known, please consider doing so via this link.  i reiterate my offer of a free beer to anyone who does (actually, to the first three people who do... either way you have nothing to lose; only a beer or snack and some thanks to gain; and your ticket(s) will cost the same - $60!)

wait a minute... maybe this is a fake schedule, and the organizers released it to get people to buy pavilion seats.  then they release the official schedule which might not align to this one... </conspiracy>

Do we know that they're VIP tickets? Ticketfly lists them as "GA Pavilion" which doesn't have any of the perks listed that "VIPavilion" does. Livingsocial's description doesn't help clarify this at all.

good point.  i'm assuming these $60 tix don't include:

Quote
With your VIPavilion seat you receive:
Early access to priority parking for the first hour
Welcome party in the pavilion with drink specials and complimentary snacks
VIP bar and lounge in the pavilion
VIP bar and viewing area at the West stage
Backstage tour
Event T-shirt and poster
Entry to win tickets to Edward Sharpe
Access to the Official After-Party
A free ticket to a return play by any festival artist in the DC/Balt area in the next calendar year, subject to availability

i'd happily settle for just the parking. although the bar is a nice touch.

I am guessing that if you have a pavillion ticket, you have VIP access.  I say this because my ticket says pavillion, but I also have a VIP access pass to wear around my neck at the show.

Does guarantee you pit access as well? or just seating in the pavilion? If it's pit access I may pick up a pair to ensure I get to see LCD Soundsystem.

It looks like the discounted tickets are pavillion only. No VIP access.  Sorry....

"but I also have a VIP access pass to wear around my neck at the show"

I paid $125 and bought a $30 as backup for the backstage so a total of $155. I have the two tickets but no VIP access pass? Did yours come with the tickets?

Thanks,

if they are selling pavilion tickets that are non vip and advertising as 2 for 1 then that would be a lie...same with living social...
