Will it happen? seems so, which I am seriously thrilled about as far as prospects go. When and who will Play? Let the speculation begin...

One must ask him/herself who HFS would be playing now if they were still around.

The pessimist in me says Fallout Boy, My Chemical Romance and 3 oh!3 would be prominent in their rotation and therefore, would fill the headliner slots.

Where have you seen any evidence that there would be an hfstival this year?

hfs2 hd and Thefan 106.7 the fan have been running online streaming promos hinting at a big return with something HFS related with concert sounds in the background etc for the last week or so, and Chad Dukes, a one time HFS DJ and intern has also hinted on his twitter and his facebook that HFS2 HD has 'something really big planned' in the last week.

Lastly, if you go to the HFS2 facebook page and click on the one video they have, it pretty much says and shows you everything pointing to HFStival returning.

Well that would certainly be something. Especially with Virgin Fest not what it used to be anymore.

I happen to really like virgin fest 2.0, but apparently my opinion won't  count because I'm a festival-hater

If Lollapalooza is the Walmart of music festivals, what does that make HFStival?

Only lineup, time, place, and price of tickets will tell.

For the record I'm more of a festival-douter, as in I doubt I'll ever attend a festival held in a large field in the middle of the summer, especially if it's out of town

you don't like improvement?  the move from pimlico to MPP alone made an average festival into something interesting.

I happen to really like virgin fest 2.0, but apparently my opinion won't  count because I'm a festival-hater

a hater that hates = predictable.
a hater who likes = interesting, potentially insightful.

Especially with Virgin Fest not what it used to be anymore.

You mean overpriced and shade-free?

bingo.

well on their FB page they posted this:

new music just added from:

American Bang, Black Keys, Deftones, Five Finger Death Punch, Kottonmouth Kings, LCD Soundsystem, Orianthi and The Dead Weather.

so.....i would take a headlining spot from LCD!

Also going from Foo Fighters, The Who, and Red Hot Chili Peppers to Blink-182 and Weezer. It's still enjoyable but its not going to attract the top acts anymore.
