Well I will be in St. Louis at the same time as Hole.  Tickets are significantly cheaper at 32.50 I might just go to it to judge for myself.

I saw a Badly Drawn Boy a couple of years back at the club.  I don't remember anything particularly awful about his performance.  I did leave a bit early as I got bored.  I guess I can say it pretty much a show you would forget more than say was totally awful.

Certainly a lot better than the Sisters of Mercys show at the club (last one).

I was at this show and have been to hundreds of shows in my lifetime and this was seriously the best show I have ever been to.  ... She thought it was awesome that there were black people at her show and pulled them onstage with her.  I thought she was magnetic and beautiful.  The show was beyond my wildest expectations and everyone who was a true Hole fan got more than their money's worth.
