let's see

widespread panic  (every night they play)
phish  (ditto)

that's about all i need for now.

Gay jam band fans.  That's a pretty unique homosexual subset.  I guess bears and twinks are old hat.

actually, the jam scene is full of bears and twinks.  most wear hats too.  and i'm sure that quite a few of them ride the all aboard gay express.  widespread has the better looking crowd, i must say.  thank you so much brian for your . . . input.

i must admit, i'm almost disappointed. i was hoping this would be the start of a full-on flame(r) war.

i give this fight (term used loosely) to walkonby.  walalce came out swinging unexpectantly with a flourish that reminded us of his days of yore.  but walkies' calm, detached reply was elegant and understated.  style beats power.

Thanks for enlightening me.  I thought the poor hygiene along would be a non-starter.  Don't they give you Paul Mitchell Clarifying and Fancy, Fancy Love by Jessica Simpson when they give you your card?

the knowledge of hair products you posses is amazing.  your locks must smell terrific.  i just use this stuff called "yes to carrots."  not everybody in the scene has poor hygiene, though.  stereotyping is so mel gibsonish.  you are welcome for the information.  anything else you like to know about cock obsession?

In case Brian wants to stereotype another homosexual board member by their live music preferences, I'll offer my favorite shows of the year thus far.

Atoms for Peace @ Coachella
My Morning Jacket @ Merriweather
Neil Young @ DAR
Wilco @ Electric Factory, Philly
Fever Ray @ Coachella
Puscifer @ Lincoln Theater

Hm. 15 of my favorite shows from this year, so far.

LCD Soundsystem @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings @ Apollo Theater
The New Pornographers @ 9:30 Club (Night 2)
Fever Ray @ Coachella
Public Image Ltd. @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
El Perro del Mar / Taken by Trees @ Le Poisson Rouge
Corinne Bailey Rae @ Coachella (My vote for most surprising live act I've seen this year.)
Peter Gabriel / Ane Brun @ Radio City Music Hall
Stevie Wonder @ Bonnaroo
Sunny Day Real Estate @ Coachella
Joanna Newsom @ Sixth and I Street Synagogue (Night 1)
Erykah Badu / Janelle Monae @ Roseland Ballroom
Tift Merritt / Jason Collett @ Hiro Ballroom
Spoon / Deerhunter @ 9:30 Club (Night 2)
Charlotte Gainsbourg @ Coachella (Also incredibly surprising how gorgeous this show was.)

Damn, I'd also add the Gorillaz show from Coachella, Norah Jones from Bonnaroo, Japandroids and Best Coast from March at Bowery Ballroom, Clutch's acoustic set from a side stage at Bonnaroo, and Jonsi's last show at Terminal 5.
Woof.
