It wasn't that hard to figure out that he was asking about the 9:30 show on Saturday, July 3rd in preparation for his show in Austin in a couple weeks.

Withoutadoubt, it would have been easier if he had said "last weeks show" or "the show at the 9:30 club", but still, it didn't take a rocket scientist to decrypt his message.

no, your initial post isn't clear.  given the lack of distinction in your sentences, "the show" in the second sentence refers to the same show in the first sentence.  thus, you're asking for the setlist to the austin show - which hasn't happened yet.  

if you're going to talk about 2 different shows, how about distinguishing between them?
