Excellent pic Dupek..... I forgot he did that. I wonder what he was thinking?

And as for you Mankie, It started raining halfway through qualifying. That is why both toyotas ended up on the second row......

I dont think the bridgestone dry tyres are very good in damp conditions.

That was the plan all along....

Ferrari looked at the forecast for both qualifying and race days...it was rain for the qualifying and clear for the following day. They decided to run Michael on slicks for qualifying because you have to start the race on the same tyres that you qualified on. That way they could eliminate a pit-stop for tyre change. Rubens qualified on wets so he could be up front and therefore block whatisface if disaster happened with Michael.

 Clever huh?

No Mankie. You have got confused...... Everyone qualified on "slicks". No one used intermediates or wets......

It just started raining the moment Barricello finished his run. It was just lucky timing.

I think if it was wet qualifying and dry race, or vice-versa the rules then allow for tyre changes.

I have no clue about the rules, but one of the pit-crew from our company race team told me it was planned that way...maybe my version of what I was told is a bit innacurate, but the gist of it is true. Rubes up front and Michael at the back.

By the way, our own team is just one race away from winning the season championship for the second year in a row in the 360 challenge series...not too shabby huh? Even mattel have contacted us about doing a hot wheels #33 of our car. I think that's pretty schweet to be honest.

Ok Mankie.....

Michael had a 9 point lead over Kimi....

The only way for Kimi to win the championship was to finish first with Michael getting no points.

Barricello winning then is the perfect spoiler for Raikonen.

I am sure Michael would of had a much easier and enjoyable time qualifying on pole and just winning the race straight up. Being 14th was awful for him, he had two seperate collisions back there, one with his brother.
