Beautiful is probably Belle and Sebastian's #1 B-side. #2 would be I Love My Car.

fine . . . the obvious answer is strawberry fields forever, since it was the beatles best song, and the fact that it is a b side while being an a side at the same time.

I hate to be a stickler but as it was included on Magical Mystery Tour lp (US version) to me its no b-side.

A true b-side is a song you can only get as a b-side..at least for a decade or two...

This is whats remarkable about Hey hey what can I do... it wasn't available other than as a b-side until the early 90s zep box.... about 20 years only available on that 45..

anyways i'm sure there are other great b-sides

There are songs that are a B-side and they are the band's (arguably) most recognizable song.

To wit:

"Dear God" by XTC was initially the B-side of "Grass", also from "Skylarking."

And although it was eventually released as an A-side on its own, "How Soon Is Now?" by The Smiths was originally the B-side of "William, It was Really Nothing."

I know the correct definition of a b-side, but I would say, in this day in age, a b-side is a song that doesn't make an official album.

You and Whose Army? is also a killer Radiohead b-side.
