well it sounds like a great development..no more DAR shows for IMP AND a shifting of many shows at Merriweather (the ones of interest) to DC

win win

^ what are you referring to?  I think the Merriweather is too big for a band like B&S. Echostage is much more appropriate.

I agree..

This is why I said its a "win win"!

Most people from DC don't want to drive all the way to Columbia... more shows that would have been at Merriweather going to Echostage is a good thing.

Well I'd rather drive to Merriweather. Shows in DC area are not only for DC people.

I don't understand this comment at all.

Of course they are not only for DC people but by logic shows in the DC area are mainly for DC people...Columbia is not the DC area.. its like 10 miles from Baltimore.

WHat does this even mean? I'm sure someone flew in from Frankfurt for a show last year?

So what?

Most of us who go to shows in DC by definition live closer to DC than Columbia..

Sorry for people who live in Baltimore.

Merriweather, especially during the week, is too much of a commitment of time and energy. If it's on a weekend, then fine. At least if the show is in DC I have a chance of going. I think that's true for most DC folks. Work and traffic can be really complicating factors.

I edited my post..sorry.

But listen if you live in Baltimore you can't complain about DC shows being accesible for DC area people.. you are not in the DC area.

Talk to Killsally or whatever she's calling herself... tons of great shows in Baltimore according to her

I would think any Baltimoron would like the Echostage location
less then a mile into DC and right off RT 50
it's about 15 mins closer to Balt than the 9:30

(FYI, I like Baltimore and people from there, I just couldn't resist with the name calling)

Echostage is so easy to get to. You jump down 295 for like, what, 30 minutes? And blam you're right there.
