Tell me about it! I was just hoping to hear some of their Gazier selections along with that monster Korn crap I would expect to have to put up with. Seems I heard that the newer material they are now working on is going back to the Gaze direction but maybe I misinterpreted something. Weird how you can either totally love or hate various selections from the same band.

i'm pretty sure your non-ironic appreciation of the Old 97's disqualifies you from making this statement.

normally pointing out that you weren't there at the show should disqualify you, but apparently you can overcome space and time to pass judgement on things you didn't witness (or witnessed a decade ago - no chance that a band would change in all those years and hundreds of shows, right? ).

I will still go see them, if I can swing it.  Im guessing Jaxx is a venue that usually doesnt get bands I would want to see, since I have never been there before or had a reason to check it out.
