HA! Black Flag used to play a lot of house parties back in the day, and I just couldn't imagine how cool it'd be to walk into some house and have them jamming away. QOTSA would be great in that capacity too. Especially if there was plenty of tequila.

Joey really was one of the best drummers they've ever had. Grohl is good too, but Joey did a great job both with Queens and Eagles of Death Metal. I hope he'll end up with a good gig.

Looks like they have the roots, wale, flogging molly, and Ellie Goulding  on their upcoming shows.  Seems like some big names.

Dave Grohl Won't Tour With Queens of the Stone Age

Not necessarily a bad thing.  Will discourage folks who would only go to the show to see Dave.

no its not that bad.. good sound and sight lines are fine


they just haven't been booking much good stuff..

and its is a very corporate live nation ticketmaster venue
